Spun Textiles took shape in 2019, as owner and lead designer Kate Jones, dove into the world of wedding florals with her floral company Juniper Floral Studio.  After doing several weddings, Kate realized there was a need for the pretty details she yearned for in her designs.  She started by experimenting with ribbons and dyes to see if she could match her clients vision and colour theme to their ribbons for the bridal bouquets.  Upon testing this, she found the process to be an exciting and rewarding one.  In 2020, she decided it was time to share her hand torn, hand dyed, 100% silk textiles with the world and the first collection of 11 colours was born.
